Actually Spectralayers 12, but I didn’t see that. I took a live recording and separated the crowd noise and then made the foreground into a track and was separating song, and Cubase just closed before finishing. tried again and succeeded, but it was really poor and the drum track was almost empty. Then I did the cubase stem separation on that and it was no better, so I closed that and now the foreground track has no sound when it plays though it clearly has a waveform. I don’t understand these processes. Spectralayers is grayed out now, so can do nothing about it. …
Then I made extension permanent but that just replaced the original track with the crowd noise and the foreground track is still silent…
Then I undid that and have the original track but the foreground track is now empty, like nothing ever happened.
