Hello everyone.
I just tried the Lite version of Spectrlayers for the first time (in Cubase 12, since I haven’t upgraded to Cubase 13 yet).
It did quite a good job of separating the vocal from the backing track. And both new tracks played fine when they were in the lower window.
Then I dragged both the new parts up to the Project Window. And so I now had three tracks there. Original mix. Vocals only. Backing only.
But I can’t get a sound out of any of them. Nothing. The cursor runs along, but there’s no sign of any audio activity. And no sound.
Any ideas what’s gone wrong?
Thanks
Hi,
Double-check the routing of the tracks, please.

Thanks, Martin. I just got the two edited tracks to play. It seems like Spectralayers was still operational in the background, and they were muted in Spectralayers.
Still can’t the original track to play back.
Right-click the events and select ”make extension permanent”.
Do this for all of the three events.
