I may be missing a setting but I’ve noticed an odd behaviour of the Split tool in CB14, that also happens in CB12 and not on CB11 on my studio PC. I’m not conscious of noticing this anomaly prior to the CB14 install. I have another CB14 install on a laptop that does not do this. I suspect there is a setting on my studio PC that’s behind this but I can’t find it
If I import a stereo track and convert it into two mono’s. Then I select the two tracks and use the split tool, it does not split in the same place.
To explain my picture. The bottom two tracks are the two mono’s and the split was made by selecting them both and splitting. The Upper two tracks are the same source audio but placed in a folder. The split in the top left of the picture was done by splitting the folder track. The split to the right on the top two tracks was made by selecting the two individual tracks and splitting.
The cursor appears to be snapping to something. I don’t have snap to grid enabled. Is there another snap setting like snap to hitpoint or similar that I’m missing?
Thanks
Ken
