My Cubase split tool has been splitting and the bar or the second that is closest to where I want to click, instead of exactly at the point in time I want to click. This wasn’t a problem in my last project, I wonder if a default has gotten flipped somewhere and I didn’t notice it. In any case, I don’t know how to fix it. Any advice?

Do you have Snap turned on?
I have messed around with Snap a bit, turning it on and off, but it doesn’t seem to change it. My split tool still is only able to split at whole seconds.

Can you possibly make an animated gif that shows the Snap & Grid settings along with you trying to make cuts.
How did you resolve this issue?
If you have the same problem please consider making an animated .gif as raino suggested to elixirtheft.
The tool “Licecap” accomplishes that nicely.
