Splitting in 2 partitions a 2TB drive to use for VST samples

Hi, I’m thinking of purchasing a 2TB Caviar Black and splitting it into 2 partitions as follows:

  1. Adobe Cache and Scratch Disk (1TB)
  2. VST Sample content (1TB)

Does anyone foresee a problem or does this sound like a great solution to an Adobe CS and DAW professional?

Can’t see why that should be a problem, after all you wont be running the two apps together!
