I am wondering if it is possible to write lyrics into what appears as an empty measure while the width of this measure is adjusted to the lyrics in both the score and parts? As a workaround I would try to add stemless notes with blank noteheads but by mere shortening, a small reminder of the stem is left (missing a dedicated stemless note function…). I hope since I am new to Dorico that I didn’t miss something obvious somewhere… Thanks a lot in advance for any suggestions.
Welcome to the forum! There’s certainly a “hide stems” option… in the Properties panel.
Instead of blank noteheads, I would use regular, and set them to transparent.

Ah, see it… thanks a lot, Dan, I was supposedly looking at some older documentation.
