So I bought this little computer with an i5 cpu in it and it runs better than my old home made boxes.
I was running Cubase 7.5 on it and it runs good and all.
Then I put in an SSD, but I didn’t want to mess with the OS that came with it (win7pro).
So I uninstalled cubase and reinstalled it on the SSD.
Now…
It runs fine and all but it’s going to the hard drive for the plug ins.
I can just file copy the vst folders onto the SSD and add the paths, then delete all the paths that point to the hard drive?
So I would have cubase on the SSD and record on the SSD, then archive to the hard drive.
Well not so sure about best way to go.
Any help appreciated
Thanks
