SSL new DAW controller just implemented Ai knob function..!

There is a classic version which is free for non-commercial use:-

Not sure if that allows you to map to mouse scroll wheel or not, and i’m really busy so i can’t check for you at the moment.

In regards to mapping it, you don’t need to do anything within Cubase, as the mouse scroll is done on an operating system level - so you simply put your mouse pointer over elements which respond to a mouse scroll and turn your MIDI control to adjust it.

Edit:
Just seen that mouse emulation is not part of the classic version, so you’d need the full version. :frowning

Whether it’s worth the money is up to you i guess, but BOME software is really good for any MIDI Translation if you have requirements. Plus there’s a trial:-

Thank you so much for all information you gave to me (even you are busy) .
I will download trial Pro version with hope I can figure out settings in 20 minutes how long trial works. And if it works for my needs I will buy it.
Thank you once again.

Actyally we can emulate something similiar to AI knob, even better
I’m working on it.

What you need:

  1. Midi Controller with knobs/Faders - which will be assign to Track Quick Control
  2. Software which can capture mouse position
  3. basic scripting

The Process:

  • capture mouse position on button QC Lear Mode
  • make a script that will enable QC Learn Mode for each QC slot (1-8). script should check empty box or text exist (thats problem for me now, because by default QC Learn mode always assign 1 slot, even if he already assigned.
  • assign to modifier (midi/keyboard etc.) better by holding ( i make to midi (Note On activate, Note Off deactivate)
  • enjoy

In this case, you can get 8 AI-like, knobs

maybe it looks complicated, but if i can do this (with my ultra-low knowledge, i’m pretty sure, someone can make ez 2 use method)

Wow, that would be really nice! For a past few weeks, I have experienced a few daw controllers, including, Alphatrack, BCF 2000 and now Euphonix MC Mix (Artist mix) and, I am confident to say, this MC Mix really stepped up my daw controlling game with its clear OLED display.

Eucon with Ethernet cable, is just simply too trouble-free on my setup. I can’t live without it!
(Though I did love BCF 2000 with MCU protocol!)

Ai Knob finction mod would be super excited for all Cubase users here
Please make it happen
Also on Mac osx!
