Why do I keep getting staff collisions? I thought Dorico prevents these by default. How can I stop them from happening autotmatically. If a system has to be moved to the next page then so be it.

Happens all the time to me. Usually if I reset the template it corrects itself - but not always. Of course if I set the staff size too high for the number of instruments it will happen regardless.

The easiest fix, honestly, is to reduce your staff size to Size 5, which would be better for a score layout. Of course that wasn’t the point of your question, I know.
