Staff spacing too wide

Dear friends, these 2 accordion systems are too wide. I want to have min. 3 systems á 2 accordions. How can I do it? Thanks!

Layout options, increase the percent settings in the Vertical Justification settings to higher numbers. You may need to increase your music frame margin by editing your first page template and/or reduce your rastral size (in layout options) in order to fit three systems on the first page.

You could make staff size smaller.

You could make top and bottom page margins smaller

If you don’t use a copright notice, you could edit the page template to delete the token, and extend the music frame a bit

To combine the answers from @JAMES_GILBERT and @TonH:

Dorico has determined from your various settings (space size, minimum gaps) that it can only fit 2 systems on that page. At that point, your vertical justification settings tell Dorico to put space between the instruments in order to fill up the page. So it’s the fact that Dorico can only get 2 systems on that page which causes the extra space, not the other way around.

Once you change some settings to allow 3 systems per page (space size, gaps, music frame size, etc.), then Dorico will do that, and you’ll see less space between instruments.

I’d also suggest that you don’t need abbreviated labels on every systems, when there are just two instruments.
