I’m trying to hide one piano staff, but only in a particular region. There are some areas where one staff is empty, but I want it to still be visible, so the global setting won’t work. I’ve followed the steps, and allowed hiding on multi staff instruments, but the local setting doesn’t do anything. Anyone know what I’m doing wrong here?
IIRC this doesn’t work when you have chord symbols set to appear between staves. One solution I’ve used before is to not actually use a Piano staff, but to use a treble and a bass staff that are then both part of the same part layout. Then you have complete flexibility over what shows and where the chords show as well.
