When editing wave files in Cubase. When I used to open a wave to edit it, there used to be little tabs at the top of the start and end of the Wave (I think they were named “Start” and “End” respectively) that I could grab and drag to use to shorten or lengthen the wave, but now they aren’t showing up any more. How do I get them back?
Are you sure you’re in the SAMPLE editor? You could be in the Audio part editor (I think it’s called).
I double click on the wave and whatever editor opens up and that’s usually where I edit the wave (including trimming off the end of the wave)?
Could you post a screenshot if possible? The start and end flags should be there. 
Show Audio Event button.
