Start Center can't be opened

Hi,

I bought Cubase 7.5 (box version). As my MPB 13retina (Osx 10.9.1) doesn’t have an optical drive I went online and downloaded the Cubase 7.5 iso file from the site.

When I double click on the Start Center icon it says:

“Start Center” can’t be opened because it is from an unidentified developer.

Anyone knows what the problem may be? The computer is brand new, and the version is downloaded from the Steinberg site.

Hello charlyD,

This is a common 10.9.x issue. Nothing wrong with your system.

Open System Preferences and go to Security & Privacy. Under the General tab find “Allow apps downloaded from:” and select “Anywhere”. Problem solved.
