Hi,
What do you call “region” in Cubase, please?
start from last starting point inside audio tracks
Regions are **sections within an audio״
Hi,
Do you preview the sound in the Sample editor, please?
Sorry, I’m not sure, I follow your use case.
to “start from project cursor point” inside the sample editor not in the main window …
Thank you !!!
Hi,
If you press the Space bar in the Sample Editor window, the main Transport starts. So all the same commands and options, which are available for the Project window, work also in the Sample Editor.
Please see the Transport > Start Mode options in the menu.
that’s totally the problem, I changed it under transport, it works as it should on the main screen, but when I enter inside a specific sample in the sample editor ,
Every time you press space it continues forward and does not return to the beginning like it should …
Hi,
Could you try in the Cubase Safe Start Mode [Disable preferences], please?
Or even to rename all Cubase versions preferences folders?
Cubase Preferences folders are:
Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Cubase X
Win: %appData% Steinberg/Cubase X_64
big thanks for your help
I tried to turn on the software in safe mode
But the problem remained the same…
I looked for the Cubase 13 folder in ( Mac: ~/Library/Preferences/Cubase X ) in the Library Preferences folder
But I didn’t find it there…
Hi,
Be aware, this is the user/Library (therefore the ~/Library/).
And the X stands for the Cubase version. In your case: Cubase 13.
Hi,
No, it’s not.
Open Finder. Click to Go in the menu. Gold form Opt (alt). The wanted Library folder appears in the menu. Click to the menu item to open it.
Yes, changing the name of the folder worked, but my plugin lists and key commands were of course lost
Is there a way to make it work without losing them ?
Hi,
You can put the given files back.
