As far as we (some of us) know, it is not possible to specify “any note” in the conditions in Studio Setup => Generic Remote. For example MIDI Status we specify “Note On” then Address “-1” because counting starts from “0”. So if Cubase gets any note, it can run specified action - “play”, “record” or any other.
