In the screenshot I have a midi part that ends at bar 563.1.1.0, the enclosed note does not extend beyond the part and also ends at 563.1.1.0.
If I start playback at 563.1.1.0 the note from this preceding bar plays. This certainly can’t be by design can it? I can’t find a setting or method that defeats this other than manually resizing (reducing) the midi note or part so that it ends a tick or beat before the next bar. Another method is to set a -.10 delay on the midi track. It’s extremely time consuming.
(this was midi drag and dropped from Superior Drummer but happens in many other scenarios)
(I use midi tracks routed to instrument tracks because of external controller compatibility, but this also happens if the data is on instrument tracks)
Hi Martin! That value was indeed set to 0. When I set it to 1 tick the issue went away on my system with this particular example, however on my employer’s system with a newer variation of the same project file it did not work, which is strange, so I’ll have to keep working with it.
