Startup Plugin Scanning Issue Remains in N8.3.20

As I sit here in my hotel room in Kansas City, waiting for all of my plugins to scan after traveling across a couple of time zones, I am noting that what I thought I read was fixed in this latest version of Nuendo is apparently not at all fixed at this time.

5 minutes in, and counting.

Dang it… I was so happy when I read the update list. Sigh.

And now, two time zones away, back home in LA…

Scanning…scanning…scanning…ticking, tocking… It did go just a little bit faster this time; about 3 minutes. But next time…?

Hopes raised so high… only to be dashed like so many broken dongles on the pavement of reality.
