Steinberg Cubase LE Al Elements 12 freezes after UR22C switch

Hello everyone.
My device:
Macbook Air M1, Interface Steinberg UR22C, Steinberg Cubase LE Al Elements 12. Installed TOOLS for UR-C V2.0.0 and Yamaha Steinberg USB Driver V3.1.2 according to instructions.
Problem:
In Studio setup in Cubase, switch UR22C and Cubese totally slows down to a stop. You can’t work at that moment. I practically couldn’t get the sound in or out. Cubase cannot be used. DAW is frozen and other applications run normally.
CPU activity monitor approx. 20% and RAM 3.5GB.
Failed to update UR22C firmware

I have been working with this error for the third day. I am happy to provide additional information. Sorry if this topic already exists.

Hi Elemuntt,
My problem was in the high write protection software from third party suppliers (USB Drive Yamaha) on the hard drive of the Macbook. It is needed => system preferences, security and privacy, click on the lock on the bottom left to enable changes, general, enable Usb Yamaha driver and it should work. Try and write. :slight_smile:
