Steinberg Download Assistant - Error Invoking Method, Failed to Launch JVM

I can’t open the download assistant at all. I tried all of the below that I found online:

  • Clean registry and Reinstall Download Assistant
  • Install Java for windows
  • Install in C drive or different drive
  • Move or remove “3rd Party” folder from : C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\Download Assistant

I see that this is an age old problem with Steinberg. Have anyone found any solution yet?

I have exactly the same problem, and have had it for more than 3 month now. Raised a ticket with Steinberg, and tried tons of suggested solutions from Steinberg, even reinstallation of windows and today re-installation of Cubase 12 PRO … Still the same problem …

Hello I tried to update to download assistant 1.34.3 hoping thait would finaly work but still the same issue even though I tried all the suggested steps from Steinberg site but still have the same issue. Any suggestion anyone?
