My problem here with Cubase Pro 11 and the eLicenser. Keep getting an error message when trying to activate that the ‘eLicenser is too old and needs to be updated’. So I do that and still the same problem. The activation code i was sent is 5 sets of 5 numbers and the old codes were 8 set of 4 numbers. The format is WRONG. I need this resolved. I an a professional studio with sessions on Monday. I have this weekend off and it was my time to install C11, set up my preferences since half the time they never port over from one update to the next, and work with it to make sure there are no glitches before my sessions, so I can fall back on C10.5 if necessary.

Most probably this not and Activation Code, but this Download Access Code. Use it in your MySteinberg account to generate an Activation Code out of it. Then use the Activation Code in the eLCC application.

I had the same issue and tried all what has been suggested but didnt worked…BUT i check my internet browser and it was the browsert from my VPN software that prevented the app to work.
Once i uninstall it and tried to open it with my firefox browser BOOOOOM the Miracle happened and all went smooth

Still the same problems. Obviously Steinberg did not solve anything. It is so frustrating, Trying to download the Absolute Collection since 2 weeks and it does not work. Only with lots of patience I accomplish to download it partially after several tries.
I wrote the support but did not receive an answer yet. But one thing I can already say is, that they cannot blame my computer, because big downloads like the NI Komplete Collection and Ableton Suite with many additional packs which are even bigger were possible on the same computer with the same internet connection within 2 hours without any problems while downloading or installing. This problem is only occuring with the Steinberg Download Center.
