Steinberg Gift Certificate?

Hi guys,

I am wondering: is there a Steinberg Gift Certificate? My stepdaughter would like to get me the update to Cubase 14 for Christmas but would rather get something like a gift certificate from Steinberg rather than just give me the money to cover it. Is this possible?

Thanks in advance!

Dan

Hi,
your daughter could purchase the version online from the vendor of her liking and print the email that contains the Download Access Code (DAC). She could even bake a cake or draw a picture with the DAC on it. Loads of possibilities spring to mind
Happy XMas to you guys :christmas_tree:

Thanks for the answer; I am upgrading, however. Do you think it is going to be problematic for her to get the DAC without paying the full price rather than the $99 upgrade price from 13?

Again, thanks for the answer,

Dan

No, not at all. You could send her a link to that dedicated update. She would then go through the payment process and receive the aforementioned DAC.

It is really like that. She can write the Download Access Code in a nice way on a piece of paper… I like the baking a cake idea… or recite it instead of a Christmas poem.

But just once. If you don’t pay attention and get it wrong then you’ll have to wait for another year…

Gotcha. It sounds good, but I can’t help wishing that Steinberg had a (more dedicated?) gift certificate option. It would just be a bit more streamlined, you know?

Anyway, thanks for the suggestion and have a Merry Christmas. :evergreen_tree: :santa:

P.S. I really like the poem and cake ideas as well as long as one doesn’t bake the cake with the poem inside it. That could be weird.
