Steinberg Hub freezes on startup

I have an issue where the Steinberg Hub randomly freezes on startup. The left hand side says “connecting…” but all buttons are dead. The only way to close Cubase is to Ctrl + Alt + Delete.

I have to restart my PC to have a chance of success, but sometimes I need like five or six tries.

Same behaviour in both C9 and C10.

Does anyone have a fix for this?

Hello,
I had the same issue with Cubase 10 AI (Windows 10). Using Cubase 9 is ok (I disabled Hub at startup).
I now received the option to install Cubase 11 AI with same problem…
Unfortunately, I do not see a follow up to your post… Did you find a solution?
