Hello. I will record a drum session soon. I would like to know if it’s better to put the PAD switch of the MR-816 at the “ON” position when i record high level source like Kick drum or snare. Thank’s !
Turn the input volume down all the way on the MR and play the kit, if it clips then youll need to use the PAD
I also open up the MR Console and pull down the input faders by 3dB before I pad to see if that will fix the issue
