Steinberg Plus Request

Hi, I own a UR816C and I read that Steinberg Plus should allow me to use “Metro Heights,” “Amped Elektra,” and other content.
I tried to request the free DAC, but I didn’t receive it, and if I try to register the UR816C with another account, it says it’s already registered. Steinberg Plus doesn’t appear in my product listing. From what I understand, it should be free for all UR-C owners. My UR816C isn’t second-hand.
Can anyone clarify this for me?

Did you register for the newsletter?

Yes, I also tried to cancel the subscription and reactivate it. I found the old activation code, but it does not activate the new products.

I’m not sure what else to suggest. Did you get to the point where it says to check your email for a DAC? I just tried (even though I don’t own a Steinberg interface) and received a DAC in an email almost instantly :neutral_face: .

I tried but it doesn’t work. My sound card is already registered. By now I don’t think you can update the Steinberg Plus package with the new free plugins.

After a few attempts, support resolved the issue by activating my Steinberg Plus license. I provided the DAC I originally used and the serial number of the UR816C.
The plugins doesn’t appear in the “My Products” tab, but installing them from the “Steinberg Plus” folder in the “VST Instruments & Plug-Ins” tab seems to work.

I have exactly the same problem, I used a DAC received for UR-C 2 years ago, but it still only activates old products. I opened a ticket 20 days ago at Steinberg, but I got no support at all…

For me it took more than a month for an answer. They should fix this problem.

I am counting 5 weeks with no feedback at all. What is this kind of customer relationship ?

I came back today to the technical support and to the author of the announcement post. That was solved very quickly, so I did not understand why my request was let in the freezer all this time…
