I purchased Steinberg UR12 from Turramurra music on 21st November 2017.
Yesterday, I tried to install STEINBERG driver in a MacBook Pro to support macOS Catalina as STEINBERG is now supporting 10.15.x*
First I started with YAMAHA STEINBERG USB DRIVER
During installation process I was asked to allow “Yamaha Corporation” and then restart to finish the installation.
After restarting the MacBook Pro, it never opened. I tried many ways, safe boot, forcefully restarted the machine. But nothing happened, I had to use disk repair utility to recover OS & data from time machine backup. It is still restoring and will take more 12 Hours to finish.
At this stage what should I do ? Do I have to use macOS Mojave to use Steinberg ? When I can use Steinberg in macOS Catalina. ? Why it crashed like this way ? Did I do something wrong ?
