Is Dorico 6 near? This appears in the Steinberg’s 40th Anniversary Sale page. Grace period maybe??

No, it’s a mistake, and it will be corrected as soon as possible.
Obviously we have graphic assets prepared for future versions of Dorico because we need them for things that we use during development, like splash screens, installers, etc., and it’s no secret that we’re working on a new version of Dorico, because we always are!
But what has happened here is that our graphic designer has mistakenly grabbed the logo for the next version rather than the current version, and it’s somehow slipped through the cracks. (I didn’t see the page myself until it went live this morning.)
Dorico 6 is not imminent. We are not anywhere near the grace period. We have plenty going on right now with bringing in thousands of new users from Finale.
Sorry for the confusion caused, but it will be sorted out very soon.

This is now fixed. Sorry for getting everybody’s hopes up that Dorico 6 is imminent. (I’m glad it’s not, because it’s nowhere near finished…!)
