I seem to remember reading somewhere (Steinberg Making Notes?) that stems aligned rather than note heads in cross staff beaming but I have a few places where they are off and wondered if there is a way to adjust the stem placement in a beamed group?
Have you checked out Layout Options>Note Spacing … “Use optical spacing for beams between staves”… ?
