HI all,
I’m currently working on a score and in the engraving options menu, I’ve selected to have the stem direction of notes on the middle line to always be down, but in all the notes in my score the stems are still up. Am I missing something?

This is strange, I just tried and for me it works perfectly — just for the sake of being complete with information, the stem direction is found in Engrave options | Notes.
Is this an imported xml file?
Nope - a completely new file started in Dorico. I’m not sure why its not working considering I’ve made the change before in previous projects and it worked then.
Can you attach the project file here so we can take a look? Zip it up first.
