I’ve stumbled on an issue i cannot get resolved. I use Cubase with a Yamaha Modx multipart keyboard. It sends out note messages on multiple MIDI channels, one for each part. I can record these parts live correctly, the channel numbers are being preserved. In the midi editor with step input enabled, however, all channel numbers are being converted to the Midi channel number of the track or to midi channel 16 when the midi track channel is set to Any. With converted channel numbers, my parts do nopt play back correctly as the MODX needs the correct channel numbers.
Is there a workaround for this? I.e. a step input multi channel record mode?
