Steps in volume faders

Is there a way to tell Cubase to “snap to” 0.1dB steps or 0.5dB? I would really like to use my mouse wheel with 0.1dB steps and mouse with 0.5dB/1dB steps. Right now Cubase uses these odd “random” numbers, which is a bit confusing.

With Shift + Mouse wheel you get 0.04 dB steps.

You also get 0.01 dB steps when moving the mouse with shift depressed.

And on those “random” numbers, I suspect they use a Logarithmic scale (this is why you will have bigger differences/value changes at the bottom of the fader run than on the upper part).
The decibel is a logarithmic unit quantifying sound pressure and voltage ratios.

The Logarithm math formula is to complicated to explain here in a few words, but here is a place to start:

Yes I understand the logarithmic numbers, but they still are kinda random. I need to be able to have the same even steps when I´m working in -30db area or 0db area.

Yes, but those 0.01 - 0.03dB steps are too small.

I would really love 0.5dB steps and with holding shift 0.1dB steps. Even numbers are so much clearer.

Basically I don´t want two decimals at all, just even tenth number steps.
