Hello!
Can someone tell me how I can create a quick Key Command for the following action?
I want to access the Stereo Out channel with a single key (to apply effects).
Meaning, instead of pressing F3 and then going to the console to search for the Stereo Out channel and click on “Edit Channel”, I want to assign a single key to this action.
Hi Martin, just a note here, for the Pre, you maybe mean Devices→Mixer. However, this one will actually toggle the mix console.
Anyway, without this Pre, the PLE will work, as long as we are either in the mix console already, or in the project window, with the folder of the Input/Output channels expanded. If it is collapsed, it won’t work. At least so I see here but nothing bad, I suppose
The Devices menu was renamed to the Studio menu around Cubase 10. Or am I missing something?
That’s the reason, why I made the Pre. To open the MixConsole. Luckily, if MixConsole is open but not hidden behind some other windows, this command doesn’t close the MixConsole, but it brings it to the front.
Exactly. And that’s the reason, why did I open the MixConsole.
Thank you for your answer. Unfortunatelly I cannot manage to do it properly.
Can you tell me what I did wrong and give me a step-by-step guide on how to configure it? Because apparently, when I press “Apply”, it opens the configuration of the selected channel instead of opening the Stereo Out, and I don’t understand what I did wrong.
