Stereo track won't process online

I am having an issue in cubase 12 pro.
Every time i try to reverse the phaze on a stereo track via -right click- process audio- reverse phaze. The direct offline processing box opens.
This only happens on stereo tracks, mono tracks process normally.
I have no idea why this is happening or how to stop it. Does anyone have any idea of how to rectify this?

Steinberg is on version 12.0.51. I am on version 12.0.40. Which version are you on? And do you use a Mac, a PC, or a Rasperry Pi?

There are different settings available for multitrack material.
On mono material, it is clear what should happen.
