Stop Opening Previous Project

where is the option to not open the previous project when Opening Wavelab?
currently it keeps opening whatever I worked on last, which I then have to close in order to start new.

You probably want to toggle that option:

hi PG
I think this option is the one I’m looking for, It makes sure that Wavelab always opens up empty, thank you…

ok so an update, I thought this was solved, and it is as far as opening Wavelab on its own. But the problem that remains is when doing an import from Cubase. At some point in the past if I sent a mixdown from Cubase to Wavelab, only the new exported files showed up… What is happening these days differently for some reason, when doing an import those files show up as well as any project that was opened in the past. This forces me to take the extra step of closing the project and then re finding my new files adding them in and starting over. I dont know if I triggered a preference somewhere unknown, but I never had to do this in the past…

perfect, that is the answer, thank you PG

Please add a label - “Open WaveLab With” or “Always Open WaveLab With” Before “Recently Used Files”.

Or it would be like the problem the Italian user had with WaveLab opening in Chinese but having to write in Italian on this forum, for many users.

Even otherwise I think WL like all other Audio Editing software has to open all previous files by default, if there has to be an option, it has to be to uncheck a menu-box not to open previous files.
