Stopping MIDI Recording Deletes Overlapping Events

Hello. I’m an iOS user using the most recent update of Cubasis (3.8.1). I noticed that there was an issue with recording MIDI. Normally, in older versions, if you accidentally tapped the Record button in a MIDI track, you could promptly tap again to stop recording with no further incident. Since the release of 3.8, I noticed that whenever I accidentally pressed Record on an armed MIDI track, it deletes the MIDI event data on and after the track’s playhead. This has incidentally led to me accidentally deleting MIDI clips that I’ve spent time on twice with no way of recovering them. I hope this can get fixed soon.

I forgot to clarify: using the undo function oddly does not recover the lost MIDI event. It only undoes the “Recording.”
