Store Q-Link status in project…

Please give us an option to store the Q link setting in the project. I can’t say the amount of times I’m working on something and it’s not engaged!
Please???

What is the actual workflow you’re trying to improve?

I’m genuinely curious because I can’t really think of a practical use case for storing the Q-Link state within a project.

Cubase already provides several ways to edit multiple tracks while keeping those relationships as part of the project, such as DCA groups, audio subgroups, or folder tracks.

To me, Q-Link feels more like a temporary editing tool than a persistent project setting.

So what would be the benefit of saving its state with the project?

I mean, imagine reopening a project years later, not realizing that 50 channels are still Q-Linked, moving a single fader, and accidentally changing your entire mix.

That doesn’t sound particularly useful to me.

I have Q-link on all the time.
I would just like the OPTION to save it with the project - I would even not mind saving it globally with the program, it’s just the way I work.
There is also no way to remotely control that Q link reliably.
Obviously, your usage is different…
I would also like them to fix a bunch of things that are still broken with Q link…
Your particularly example about opening a project 50 years later would mean I would have to have all those channels selected.
I automatically check when more than one channel is selected to see if Q link is on, there’s no way that I would move a fader if I see 50 different channel selected, that is my particular workflow and it’s a lot faster than turning on Q Link doing the operation then turning off Q Link…
