Straight vs Curly Apostrophes

Hi,

I’ve noticed that Dorico automatically converts straight apostrophes to curly ones in the Project Information box but doesn’t do so in regular text. It would be great if this feature worked consistently across both contexts, as it does in software like Word.

Is there a way to quickly insert a curly apostrophe when using a Mac keyboard? I’m using a French Canadian layout.

Try the same key with alt/option pressed?

On a French-Canadian keyboard, I just discovered we ca get it by pressing alt + shift + é

I just feel it’s counterintuitive that Dorico doesn’t it automatically across the software.
