Today I noticed that one of my files (not all files, just one in particular) had a strange background tone when playing it back in the media sidebar and mediabay.

When I play the file back in Quicklook (Mac Finder), the high-pitched background tone is not audible!
Here are some details about the file in question:
I tested a few other files that had 96000 kHz (my project runs at 48000) but the sample rate doesn’t seem to have any effect. Other files with that sample rate don’t produce this artifact.
Any ideas?
