Strange behaviour in Engrave mode

Hi,

in the attached file, I found a strange behaviour, when navigating with the mouse in engrave mode. If you look at the gif, you can see, that I select the c and then press the right arrow several times and then I select the g and press the left arrow several times.

While I find up and down navigation in Engrave pretty predictable, right and left are much less so. Sometimes a bit frustrating. I believe it has to do with the invisible bounding boxes around elements.
