Strange ghost notes

I came across this while working on a Mozart mass.

I wanted to insert into the bar and got kind of ghost signs in the bar before. Is this intended?

I think you have it selected to use the mouse for note input, in which case, since the mouse cursor is hovering between systems it is showing where the note would be place. In the left hand panel, there is an arrow. If you select the arrow during note input, this kind of behavior goes away. You can turn this off full-time in the one of the options for Dorico.

There is a bug that can result in the ghost note and ruler drawing in the wrong place when you first start note input, which may be what you’re seeing. This is on our list to be fixed in due course.
