Strange graphical TrackVersion bug, events graphically erase

This is a first and I use TrackVersions a lot, started happening after:

  • I added ARA2 Spectralayers to events on track
  • I ctrl-z’d the ARA2 because I forgot to make a new TrackVersion
  • I made a new track version and then the problem begun.
  • I closed Cubase, restarted computer (Did a Win update), re-opened project. Still happening.
  • It’s happening on other Tracks aswell.

note, I’ve done this order of actions many times before without this issue

I have some graphic driver updates I need to do, so maybe that is the cause

Just to clarify, as in the first video, I clicked ‘New Version’. It happens with both Duplicate and New Version… Either way, the graphical behaviour doesn’t make sense.

ahhhhhhhhh problem persists after OS and Gfx updates

Video 4, you can see that despite the graphics disappearing, the audio still plays back:

If I do the action that causes the events to disappear, save new version of project, close it, and re-open it, than the disappeared events are now visible and no longer disappear. But if I do another duplicate track version, the same problem occurs.

I tried deleting track versions to see if I hit some sort of cap, didn’t solve.

I think the bug has to do with the number of chopped events either on the track, or in the project.
