Strange issue/bug: property present even if deactivated

A really strange problem that happens to me occasionally (always with Dorico 6).
In an orchestral reduction I copied some notes from the violins written as harmonics, removed the harmonic symbol property and everything seems to go smoothly.
But both when printing the PDF or simply when switching back to another mode, the harmonic symbols reappear.
They are present even if the corresponding property is deactivated.
Even turning that property on and off again does not solve the issue.
I’m attaching a short excerpt that illustrates the problem, even though its reproducibility is erratic (regretfully, owing to copyright restrictions, I am unable to attach the complete file). Almost every reduction I have made previously shows this problem (written with Dorico 5.x).
At the moment the only solution I have found is to rewrite the notes, but it becomes deadly when having to retouch 300 pages of piano reduction that presents this problem.

I can’t tell you what’s happening, but it looks like if you re-apply Natural Harmonics, switch off the style button, and remove the harmonics, the problem seems to be solved…

It only works by following the steps you outlined:

  • selection
  • apply the property
  • explicitly disable the style
  • disable the property

I thought it would be enough to just disable the property altogether.
I’m almost certain that in the previous version, it was sufficient.
