How have you been handling slurs and ties between different voices in your scores?
@Janus I select the first and last note and press S or T.
But how do you make that selection?
I mouse ‘em.
I just ran into the same issue and the only thing that preserved my sanity was finding this older post in which I had previously discovered (and had now forgotten) that the option to slur from the second of a pair of tied notes ( Engraving Options>Slurs>Tied Notes) prevents one from slurring and tieing from the same note.
While completely logical, I don’t think that many people would make the connection immediately or even a little later. An alert would be a very helpful thing.
