I have two user ID’s on my Macbook Pro. I was trying to use Cubase 9.5 on the second user log-in session and as Cubase 9.5 scanned my plugs, it could not find the right folder for my Waves plugs. All other plugs such as UAD, Nomad Factory, Slate, etc. come up fine. I suspect that it is a WaveShell problem. No issues on the first user ID.
Any solutions?

As far as I know, there are two folders for the plug-ins- One is a global one, and you have access to it from any user, another one is local. Make sure, Wave plug-ins are placed in the global folder, please.
dont laugh im still using pro 9 on Mac mini and I just loaded it to a macbook pro 2017 ventura — the problem im having is everytime I move a wave audio or something inside the session , a white frosty screen appears , then when I let it ago off my mouse in the session , it goes away… this is only happening on the MacBook Pro 2017 , not the 2013 Mac mini ( I know dont say it) , I really need some help its very annoying and slows me down tremendously

I’m sorry, Cubase 9 is not macOS Ventura compatible.
I am also encountering the same issue so many years later. I have installed Waves & Waves Central (Winndows). However, Cubase Plug in manager doesnt recognise it…
the program works fine - even with waves plug ins - its just this one white screen issue when I move things around within the project
so that means I will have to upgrade to 12 or 13 ?
What version of Waves do you have? Some of them are not supported on recent mac OS. Check this:
