Hello, I am copying a piece by a contemporary composer and came across this notation:
What does it mean? And is there a way to do this in Dorico?
Thank you for your advice.
Isn’t that just grace notes, but with the line in the “wrong” position? I think you have to use a manually-positioned playback technique or line.

Of course, how embarrassing, that’s just an acciaccatura. Composer wrote it out clearly - but in the same size as the main notes, so I did not recognise them in open meter. Thanks anyway.
Problem solved ![]()
Even if they are in full size I thing the slash is just to indicate that they are to be played fast. (grace note like)
