I’m working on a Dorico project with four trombones. On the beginning of a flow, I have trombone 1 and 2 condensed to the same staff, and 3 and 4 to the second. I want to have a sub-bracket drawn around both staves, but Dorico won’t let me. Having 1, 2 and 3 on the same and 4 alone works with the sub-bracket for some reason, but as soon as I have them in the configuration I want them to be in the sub-bracket disappears. Is there any workaround to this?
Yeah, definitely. It works with the horns with two on each staff, with the trumpets, woodwinds… It also works with the trombones, just not when it’s two per staff.
