Please consider an option to suppress automatic grouping of dynamics. In most of my music, contemporary chamber music, each line is dynamically independent and it is extra steps to ungroup either in bulk or individually. Thanks.
I think there is an option for this in Preferences.
I don’t see it.
Do you mean “grouping” horizontally (e.g. a dynamic phrase pp) or “linking” vertically (e.g. the same phrase p<f on multiple staves at the same position)? If you mean the latter, linking, there is a preference for enabling/disabling the automatic linking of dynamics and slurs when you copy/paste material (it’s at the very bottom of the Note Input and Editing page).
Thank you Lilly. I did see that option. My feature request is specifically for grouping horizontally.
