in former (Long ago) cubase Versions we could hide midi Inputs from the drop down list of track-inputs WITHOUT disabling them. This was very, very useful, since in many cases one Needs midi Inputs for Controllers and not for being routed to a midi/Instrument track as Inputs. These Controller Inputs should disappear from the selection list, but still remain active.
So I suggest to bring this behaviour back: “hide” in the “midi-Connections”-Dialogue should only hide midi Connections from the Input selection list of tracks, nothing else.
