Suggestion: Rehersal marks in galley view

It would be nice if there was some way to get “floating”/overlaid rehersal marks in galley view.

Can you describe a little more what you mean? Since rehearsal marks already appear in galley view and they apply to a specific instance in the score that can be scrolled off screen, I’m unsure what you mean.

What I understand is Tyler would like to “see” system objects in Galley view even if there are a lot of instruments involved (they usually display on top), so that he does not have to scroll vertically to see them.

It would be convenient if the following items are not hidden by scrolling vertically

  • rehearsal marks
  • bar numbers
  • tempo and tempo changes
  • system tracks

If it is possible, Dorico does not need to display the same bar number on every staff in a system.
