I had no idea how powerful the “insert” mode is based on the documentation and the name of the tool. It turns out, not only can you insert new notes, if you have selected notes, you can change all of those notes to different durations (I just used it to convert a run of 16th notes to 8th notes, for instance)
I think this should be trumpeted more directly, as it is a huge timesaver as you’re trying to write a new piece.
