I’m frequently copy/pasting repeating phrases by selecting notes or measures and then holding “Alt” and clicking in the desired spot to paste and I find it hard to find the right spot in a measure to click-paste the notes, so I often misplace a phrase by an eighth or so. And I thought to myself, it would be awesome if holding the Alt key could bring up a visual indication of the rhythmic raster (somewhat similar to the entry mode) so I know where I have to click in order to properly position the copied phrase.
That’s a brilliant idea!
